I've been collecting silk ties from the recycling center.
Even if they said dry clean only, they all went through the gentle silk wash program on my washing machine. Then I took them apart.
My plan was to make a twirly skirt.
I was not keeping the pointy bits though. I'm not quite that boho chic...
However, while sewing, plans changed.
Tends to happen. I was completely winging this project.
First I edited all the yellow out, and then it turned into a wrap around skirt.
It's lovely to wear, so light and comfortable.
