So last Tuesday the 1st and 2nd graders went to see a ballet.
The Little Swans Lake.
In it a little boy refuses to go to sleep while his dad is at the ballet watching The Swan Lake. There are a few scenes from the actual ballet. Once the dad comes home he tells the boy the entire story and the rest is his dream.
His version of the beautiful swans had me giggling.
Just look at those yellow toe socks!
It was lovely.
Funny.
Pretty.
And even a bit scary.
Mind you I was surrounded by several 7-8 year ols boys and heard many deep sighs during the 50 minute show...
*grin*
This sounds like a very cute ballet for little ones. Also yipee you got the snow and I didn't...not yet anyway. We have a gray rainy day and more snow is forcast. UGH
