Camp school- day 3

We spent time in one of my favorite cities: Bath.
Beauty everywhere you look.

Excellent street musicians too!

Our guide Adrian gave us interesting detail behind the Bath Abbey.

My favorite bit was this relief to remind who began the rebuilding of this abbey:
Bishop Oliver (that's an olive tree) King.

We took a stroll to the river to see Pulteney Bridge.

The Royal Crescent.

We visited the Roman Baths. Third time for me, so I concentrated more on taking photos of the kids and the surroundings.
  (elephants are my favorite)

The hot spring would fill your bathtub with 46C water in eight seconds.

Before you say anything, the kids disinfected their hands immediately afterwards.

We hopped back onto the bus.
Caught the Westbury White Horse on our drive towards Stonehenge.

Pretty scenery along narrow roads.

They've built a lovely new visitors' center at Stonehenge and have a great audio tour.
I could have listened to more history.
The kids were pretty much all historied out for the day and concentrated on taking silly photos :)

They got more excited over the army helicopters than the rocks to be honest.

Oh the interesting things you see from a bus window.
I was wondering what these small metal huts were.
Houses, for hogs.

After dinner took a nice walk in the dusk to the local.

Crystal Palace-Liverpool.
It got intense.
Immensely entertaining for us :)
