Look up. Look down.

Sunday evening after a week-long heatwave, promising clouds were forming in the sky.
I went outside with my camera hoping for some thunder and rain.
Alas, that passed just north of us, but I did capture some pretty clouds through my lens.

And then a small (pun ever so much intended!) reminder to look closely at pretty things, because you might find something unexpected.

A pretty daisy.

Oh, there's an ant!

Let's get as close as we can, ok?

I love how its' legs are yellow with the pollen and to top it all I caught its' shadow!
